Church Membership Data

Basic device information such as device type and operating system version to ensure compatibility and improve the App experience.

Location Data

Church locations are displayed on maps within the App using Google Maps. We do not continuously track your location. Location data is used solely to show nearby churches and provide directions.

Notification Preferences

Your push notification settings and reminder schedules to deliver the notifications you have configured.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's features and functionality
• Deliver daily devotional content and scripture readings
• Enable community features, church discovery, and fellowship
• Send reminders and notifications you have configured
• Improve the App and develop new features

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Authentication Provider: We use a secure identity management service to handle user authentication and account management.
• Google Maps: Used to display church locations and provide mapping functionality. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Real-Time Messaging: We use real-time communication technology to power community and fellowship features.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in two ways:

• On your device: Notes, bookmarks, Bible data, and reminders are stored locally on your device using a local database. This data remains on your device and is not automatically synced to our servers unless you choose to share it.
• On our servers: Account information, community content, church membership data, and uploaded media are stored on our secure servers to enable features that require data sharing across devices and users.

6. Sharing

The App includes a share feature that allows you to share content to external applications on your device. When you use this feature, the data you share is subject to the privacy policy of the receiving application. We have no control over how third-party apps handle shared content.

7. Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Photos and Camera (via system picker): To select or capture images for your notes and community posts. The App accesses your camera and photo library through your device's built-in image picker.
• Photo Library (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES): To browse and select images from your device gallery for attachment to notes and posts.
• Notifications: To deliver reminders, devotional alerts, and community updates that you have configured.

You can manage these permissions at any time through your device's settings. Denying permissions may limit certain App features.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of push notifications at any time

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your server-stored data within 30 days of your request. Locally stored data on your device will remain until you uninstall the App.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including secure authentication, encrypted data transmission, and regular security assessments. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
